In 1994 during the first day of the Bisbee Black and Blue Marlin Tournament "TEAM PICANTE" on their 40' Sportfisher named "PICANTE" boated a record 993 lb. Pacific Blue Marlin winning a cash prize of $300,000.00 and a brand new 35' Cabo Yacht. The new boat was offered to any team that weighed a fish more than 750 lbs. That year "PICANTE" became associated with CABO Yachts and formed PICANTE SPORTFISHING & YACHT SALES based in Cabo San Lucas.
15 years later "PICANTE" operates the premier sportfishing fleet in Cabo San Lucas with 18 CABO Yachts in the fleet.
