| Daily Fishing Report: | Greetings from sunny Cabo San Lucas !!! The IGFA Offshore World Championship is front and center this week with teams from around the world competing in this invitation only event. First day "Captain of the Day" was Picante Captain Ivan Gomez on a beautiful 45 ft. Cabo Express named "CHAOS". Yesterdays catches were impressive with the Picante fleet releasing 1 Blue marlin and 22 Striped marlin, boating 66 dorado and 7 Yellowfin Tuna. Cooler evenings and crystal clear blue skies are a sure sign that winter weather is on the way for the peninsula. Cooler waters on the pacific side of the peninsula have brought the Striper Marlin over the Golden Gate Bank and thats where all of the IGFA teams have been fishing. Its a great time to book your Cabo vacation with the dollar holding its value over the Mexican peso at about 13 to 1 and the weather is great !! Hope to see you soon south of the border. TEAM PICANTE !!!!! |
We strongly recommend the catch and release of all billfish. It is not necessary to kill your trophy marlin to have it mounted. Please, ask our office staff for details. Thanks!! |
